AI-enabled low-code platform Newgen Software has appointed Kashish Daya Kapoor as its Global Chief Human Resources Officer.
In her new role, Kapoor will lead the company’s global people strategy, overseeing HR across geographies and aligning talent initiatives with broader business expansion plans, the company noted in a regulatory filing. Her mandate will focus on talent development, organisational agility, and building a future-ready workforce, reflecting the company’s emphasis on strengthening human capital in an increasingly digital and competitive environment.
She will also drive workforce capability, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness—areas that are becoming critical as companies scale and adapt to changing market dynamics.
Kapoor brings nearly three decades of experience in human resources, with deep expertise in organisational transformation, culture building, and managing large-scale workforce initiatives. She joins Newgen Software from NEC Corporation India, where she led the HR function and played a key role in shaping people strategy and enhancing organisational effectiveness.
Over the course of her career, she has held senior leadership roles at Tata Communications, IBM, ING Vysya Life Insurance, and Oriflame India. Her experience spans multiple sectors, with a consistent focus on aligning HR strategy with business priorities and driving organisational change.
The appointment comes as organisations increasingly place importance on talent and capability building as key drivers of long-term growth. For Newgen Software, bringing in an experienced HR leader signals a more structured approach to people strategy, particularly as it expands its global footprint and navigates a rapidly evolving business landscape.
