Lyric.ai has appointed Srilakshmi Kesari as Vice President and Country HR Head for India. She brings close to 21 years of experience across human resources, including talent development, workforce engagement and people operations.

Her appointment comes at a time when the organisation is expanding its India presence and increasing its focus on technology adoption in healthcare operations. The India centre plays a key role in engineering, analytics and product development, which makes the HR function central to team stability and capability building.

Kesari shared the update in a public LinkedIn post where she wrote, “Thrilled to announce my new role as the Country HR Head for Lyric.ai in India.”

Career Spanning Large Technology and Services Firms

Kesari has worked across several well-known organisations in IT services, engineering, pharmaceuticals and global delivery environments. Her most recent role was at Tata Consultancy Services, where she served as Head HR for Talent Engagement and Development. She managed programmes related to capability building, performance support for distributed teams, workforce engagement and leadership development.

Before TCS, she worked at Ness Digital Engineering, where she handled HR operations and team development requirements for technology units. She also spent time at Synopsys in roles related to organisational development and employee relations. Her tenure at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories gave her exposure to people processes in a regulated industry with complex workforce systems. In addition, she held HR responsibilities at Infotech Enterprises, Computer Sciences Corporation and Wipro Technologies. Each role added experience in scaling teams, building HR processes for technical talent and guiding managers through people-related decisions. She holds a master’s degree in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour from Andhra University.

Mandate to Lead People Strategy for Lyric.ai India

In her new role, Kesari will oversee all HR functions for Lyric.ai’s India operation. Her scope includes talent acquisition, employee experience, workforce planning, compliance, HR operations and leadership support. With India serving as an important centre for engineering and product work, she will help develop a steady flow of talent in high-skill areas. Her responsibilities also include improving organisational communication, supporting people managers and ensuring clarity in processes used by teams.

She will work on programmes that improve readiness for technology teams and make HR systems more consistent. Another priority for her will be to guide employee-facing initiatives so that teams remain aligned with delivery goals. As the India centre adds new technical functions and broadens its operational capacity, her role will involve shaping practices that help teams remain clear, supported and organised. Her previous experience in large environments gives her familiarity with managing transitions, people expectations and cross-functional coordination.

Supporting Lyric.ai’s India Expansion and Technology Growth

Lyric.ai develops platforms used by health plan payers to improve accuracy in payment and claim review. The company has a global client base and its India centre contributes to engineering, data work, cloud systems and product testing. As the organisation widens its technology footprint and takes on more development work, team structure and people planning become important for predictable operations.

The India centre plays a central part in technical delivery, which requires a reliable HR foundation. With more specialised work moving into the region, the need for clear hiring pipelines, stable team practices and organised people processes has increased. Kesari’s experience across different industries gives her the background required to support these demands. Her work with capability development and workforce engagement is expected to help the company maintain steady team performance and reduce gaps in talent planning.

The company has also been adding depth to areas such as analytics, cloud engineering and automation. These shifts call for HR systems that can support new skill requirements, internal mobility and role clarity. With her experience in building structured HR frameworks, Kesari will help implement systems that keep teams aligned with business needs. Her role will also involve supporting collaboration between global and India units as project volumes rise.
