APAC Financial Services has appointed Aditi Nair as its Chief People Officer, according to her LinkedIn announcement on February 3, 2026.

She joins APAC Financial Services from Practus, where she served as Chief People Officer. At Practus, Nair led human resources across the organisation, covering people strategy, leadership development, employee engagement, and HR operations. Her role included designing people policies, strengthening internal processes, and supporting leadership teams on workforce planning and performance frameworks.

Before Practus, Nair held senior human resources roles at IndoStar Capital Finance and Kotak Mahindra Bank. At IndoStar Capital Finance, her responsibilities spanned talent acquisition, onboarding, post-merger integration, compensation and benefits design, performance management systems, and career progression frameworks. She was also involved in implementing HR technology platforms, including learning management systems and HR management systems, to support scale and consistency across teams.

At Kotak Mahindra Bank, Nair worked on talent acquisition, HR operations, and people processes supporting large employee groups in a regulated banking environment. Her work there included managing recruitment at scale, supporting business-aligned HR operations, and working within compliance-driven people frameworks.

Across these roles, Nair has worked on workforce planning, leadership capability building, performance frameworks, and employee engagement initiatives. Her experience spans both financial services and professional services organisations, with a focus on managing people processes in structured, high-accountability environments.

    Scope of the Role

In her new role at APAC Financial Services, Nair will oversee people strategy and work with leadership on organisational priorities linked to execution and workforce requirements. Her responsibilities include talent management, organisational capability, leadership partnership, and people operations across the company.

The role consolidates responsibility for core HR functions under a single executive position. This includes workforce planning, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, and HR systems. The position also involves working closely with leadership teams to ensure people processes support business execution and operational needs.

As Chief People Officer, Nair will be responsible for aligning HR practices with organisational requirements, maintaining consistency across people processes, and supporting leadership on talent-related decisions.

Commenting on the appointment, Nair said her focus would be on working closely with teams across the organisation.

“I will be partnering with the leadership team and the wider organisation as APAC continues its journey towards growth, quality, and profitability,” she wrote.
