Altimetrik, an AI-first data and digital engineering company, has appointed Dhirendra Nath as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). He will lead the company’s global human resources function as Altimetrik expands its engineering and technology services across international markets.

Nath joins the company after serving as President and Group Chief People Officer at SLK Group. His move follows Altimetrik’s acquisition of the Bengaluru-headquartered technology services firm, which expanded the combined organisation’s workforce and global delivery footprint.

In his new role, Nath will oversee global HR strategy, focusing on talent development, organisational capability building, leadership programs, and workforce planning. His responsibilities will include supporting Altimetrik’s engineering workforce and ensuring the company’s people strategy aligns with its business growth in digital engineering and AI services.

Altimetrik works with enterprise clients to build and modernise digital products, data platforms, and technology systems. The company operates delivery centres across several countries and provides engineering services to organisations across sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and automotive.

Scaling Talent for a Global Digital Engineering Workforce

As CHRO, Nath will lead human resources initiatives across Altimetrik’s global workforce. His role includes managing talent acquisition, organisational development, leadership training, and employee engagement programs as the company continues to expand its engineering teams.

Altimetrik focuses on product-oriented digital engineering, helping enterprises develop software platforms, modernise legacy systems, and adopt artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies. The company works with global enterprise clients and collaborates with technology partners across cloud computing, data platforms, and AI development.

Following the acquisition of SLK Software, the combined organisation now employs more than 10,000 professionals across over 17 countries and supports more than 150 enterprise customers worldwide.

Technology services firms rely heavily on skilled engineering talent, including specialists in software development, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and data engineering. HR leadership in such organisations is responsible for building talent pipelines, developing technical capability, and managing global teams across multiple locations.

Nath’s role will involve working closely with business leaders to strengthen workforce capability and support talent development programs aligned with Altimetrik’s engineering-led delivery model.

    From Wipro to Altimetrik

Dhirendra Nath brings more than two decades of experience in human resources leadership across multiple industries.

Before joining Altimetrik, he served as President and Group Chief People Officer at SLK Group, where he managed global HR operations and workforce strategy. His responsibilities included organisational development, leadership development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Nath spent over a decade at Wipro in several HR leadership roles. During his tenure, he supported talent development and HR operations for technology and product engineering services businesses, working closely with large engineering teams and global delivery units.

He also held earlier positions at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, APJ Surrendra Group, and Pantaloon Retail, where he worked in HR and organisational development roles across pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and retail operations.

Across these roles, Nath gained experience in talent acquisition, organisational design, leadership development, and workforce planning. His career has included managing HR systems for growing organisations and supporting workforce expansion across different sectors.

Altimetrik’s appointment of Nath as Chief Human Resources Officer places him in charge of people strategy as the company expands its digital engineering and AI services globally. He will oversee talent development, organisational capability building, and workforce planning to support the company’s growing engineering workforce.
